Hockey- Which things revolving around the sport are from Canada? (inventions)?
I know hockey itself was invented in Quebec with the first set of rules, and I know jaques plante(canadian) invented the helmet.. did canadians invent any other hockey gear pieces? .. I think the canadian governor or whatever invented the stanley cup.. is this true? thanks! I need it for a history project.

WOW, you got all your facts wrong. Hockey was never "invented," it evolved. There're hieroglyphs of two humans playing with a stick and object (presumably ball) in pyramids. The first recognized game was in Kingston, Ontario in 1886 (or late 1800s, can't remember the exact year). That's how far it goes back. Plante never invented the helmet, he donned a face mask as a goalie....
