Bad driver/sponsor combinations?
What is the worst driver/sponsor combo? It's gotta be Kasey Kahne and Budweiser. Not a knock against Kasey, but face it the majority of his fanbase does not really work with Budweiser.
Actually, Our Lord Of Perpetual Insanity, I grew up 10 miles from Martin, that area of NJ is not urban at all, in fact the Truex clan's made their money from fishing and clamming. Please don't get your ideas of what NJ's really like from the Sopranos.
JJfan and Rowdy, that's just too scary I was just think that about Jamie Mac, then again Roush is weird that way, I have a diecast of the 97, when Kurt drove it sponsored by Little Tykes, who the hell thought that one up?
kasey and bud are a bad combo. he just doesn't strike me as a "joe six-pack." and i also agree that giving any "wallace" an energy drink is probably not a good idea...
i think the strangest combo is the herminator and the border patrol. i always have this stereotypical idea that border patrol needs to work quietly under cover of the night waiting in the desert, and i just don't see "kennawallace" keeping quiet enough for long enough to catch anyone...
then there's jason leffler and great clips, yikes. that boy always seems to have one of the worst haircuts in the garage. i also don't see jamie mcmurray using any irwin industrial tools anytime soon, unless it's an industrial strength blow-dryer.
finally, there's some of the classics from the truck series, i miss the days when kyle ran the "flanders beef patties" truck. i don't know what a "flanders beef patty" is (reminds me of "flanders" on "the simpsons"), but i want to know when i see it.
EDIT: wedge, i have that same little tykes die-cast - kids series 1:64. i think that's the one my friend got a five-finger discount on at the track then gave to me...
